Runestone is a supernatural community set in the conjoining worlds of sleepy hollow in the mortal realm and black hollow in the supernatural. Our primary focus is that of writing, world-building and interaction, and to that aim we are ic-app-free, and encourage narratives, town location submissions, plot interaction and events. After our first series of adds we will be invite only, and suggest you find connections either through our storyline post or pbads!

characters

Any kind of character is welcome here, and we don't want to stifle creativity! Where you decide to pull lore from is your choice, and any species that you want to explore is welcome. If you are the first to bring in a new species, we ask that you create a separate post in your journal as a contact post and point of reference for anyone else looking to bring in a character of the same species, with 4-5 bullet points, or more, of information about your species. Please do not whitewash any culturally heavy species, and please be mindful of triggering content when exploring species who focus on sexual energies or manipulation. Please be willing to work with us in those areas, if need be!

We are all very familiar with the basic rules of rp nowadays, but they bear repeating. The most important rule is to be kind to one another, we are all complex humans on the other sides of these screens, and nothing in rp is worth the ruination of another person's mental health. keep ic and ooc separate Do not god-mod, harass, bully, or use information learned ooc to affect how your character treats others in character. harassment or bullying is grounds for removal, full stop, and we ask you to come talk to the mods if you are having any kind of problem with another player. played-bys Please try to adhere to the 5 year rule when it comes to your pbs, but we also understand that we are dealing with ages old creatures, and there is leniancy. white washing in any form will not be tolerated. bios We are not going to be looking for examples, but we are going to be looking for a fully realized bio, with at least 500 words about your character. We don't expect it to be complete, and works in progress are permitted, but we want some idea of who your character is, and will not accept any bios with placeholder text.

activity

While we are a smaller community/gpsl, we still require some form of activity each month to know that you're still around and contributing! We require one (1) form of activity per month, and that can take any form you wish, from a social media post, a moodboard, a narrative, a finished and posted scene on the fpage, or hosting some kind of group plot or activity! Anything that shows some kind of effort on your part is good with us. Please drop off your activity in our activity tracker before the end of the month to make sure that you are counted! All introductions must be posted within three (3) days of being added in community and you must make a concious effort to reply to comments on your post for it to be counted. The limit for characters is 3 per writer and we ask that you disclose to us your other characters in the community just so that we can keep track of limits and plotlines!
